According to the ELCA, the vision of Lutheran Men in Mission is for every man to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through an effective men’s ministry in every congregation. Our mission is, by God’s grace, to build men’s faith, relationships and ministry through the men’s events we produce, the resources we publish and the leaders we develop. We minister to men of all ages. A special focus is ministry to younger men.
At Philadelphia Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Men in Mission meet for breakfast one Sunday morning each month. Our LMM sponsor various projects and social events throughout the year.
Philadelphia's
LMM work in partnership with the Men's Groups from about twelve Dallas area Churches to support the
Dallas Area Chicken 'N Dumplin' FEAST. The
2011 Feast provided
Over $12,000 in support of the
Dallas High Shoals Christian Social Ministry (DHSCSM). For more details, a report on the
